For 6-y-o and older horses which have fulfilled the following qualifying conditions:
For horses aged 6 years and older that meet the following qualification conditions: Horses must complete at least one qualifying race on the Pardubice track in 2025 (040301, 040401, 040501, 040701).
A condition for qualifying is that the horse must have finished in the first five places or must have finished the race not more than 20 seconds behind the winner. In the event that there is a small number of qualified horses, the organiser reserves the right to extend the qualification time.
Qualification can also be achieved by completing a race within the Crystal Cup series, or a steeplechase, a cross-country steeplechase or a cross-country race over a distance of at least 4 800 metres in Ireland, the United Kingdom, France or Italy, held after October 14th, 2024. The winner of the 134th Velka Pardubicka is allowed to run without pre-qualifying.
The condition for a rider’s participation is achieving at least 10 victories in hurdle races in their career, and in 2025 they must complete at least one steeplechase or STCHCC, or achieve at least 10 placed efforts in hurdle races in their career, and in 2025 they must complete one qualifying race for the Velká Pardubická.
Weights: 70 kg. Mares receive an allowance of 2 kg.
The trophy presentation after the race must be attended by the owner, the trainer and the rider of the winning horse and also by the riders of the horses placed 2nd – 7th.
There is a parade for this race. In addition, grooms must wear sponsored clothing from the race sponsor.

In the 135th running of the Velka Pardubicka all notified horses will be eliminated in accordance with paragraph 281 a) of the Horsereacing Code, whereby 15 places in the race are preferentially reserved for horses of owners registered with the Jockey Club of the Czech Republic.
